❌ DAILY ERROR: move the stop "to make room" for $BTC
The $BTC goes sideways: 7 days between $82,563 and $87,396; today it's at $83,876. RSI is neutral at 40, and the 4h trend is undefined. In markets like this, a lot of people enter, set the stop... and when the price gets close, they move the stop "just this once" to avoid being stopped.
The problem: the stop sets the risk of the trade before you enter. When you move it, a planned loss of 2% turns into 6%, 8% — and you don't even have a new plan, you just have hope the price comes back.
Simple rule: set the stop at entry and don’t move it downward. If the idea died, the trade died — getting out cheaply today is what keeps your capital for tomorrow. 📉
