🚨 ADA surges 11.5% in a week! Cardano ecosystem DEX trading volume jumps 2,965%, but the real signal is hidden in the details

Cardano (ADA) entered consolidation on Monday. It rose 11.5% in the prior week, and the current price is around $0.2537. It keeps getting capped by the $0.26 level—on September 23 it just touched $0.26, then fell back below $0.24 within a day.📊

Most eye-catching are the on-chain stats: DeFiLlama shows that the Cardano ecosystem DEX saw weekly trading volume jump 2,965%, with 30-day trading volume pushed to $248.31 million. But average daily trading volume is only $1.68 million—volume is built from a few pulse spikes, not sustained activity.🔥

Meanwhile, the derivatives market is in conflict: CoinGlass’s long/short ratio is only 0.63, near the monthly low—bearish. Yet the funding rate flipped to +0.0050% starting September 17—bullish. Options trading volume plummeted 92.94%, and total futures open interest also fell 3.71% to $605.28 million.💡

What’s truly worth watching isn’t how scary the 2,965% number looks, but that behind it there’s only $1.68 million in average daily trading—those pulse spikes can’t support a full trend. CryptoQuant also warns that both spot and derivatives show overheating signs.⚠️

Technical picture: ADA remains above the 50-day (0.215), 100-day (0.209), and 200-day (0.239) EMA. The 4-hour RSI reads 55.54, and the MACD is slightly below the signal line. You’d only look for $0.27 and even $0.30 after a break above $0.26. If it falls below $0.25, $0.20 is the next support.

👀 Do you think ADA is building momentum to break through $0.26, or is it another false breakout that won’t hold? Let’s discuss in the comments below👇
