🚨 Binance is Delisting Regular Tokens More Than Ever in 2026
According to shared statistics, Binance has delisted 42 spot tokens and 28 perp futures contracts in 2026.
Specifically, the number of spot tokens removed exceeds all previous years.
The frequency has also increased significantly: on average, a delisting announcement comes about every 28 days, compared to about 52 days in 2025.
Notably, the spot tokens that were removed are often the ones that have been listed on the exchange for many years.
Meanwhile, 23/28 of the futures contracts delisted this year were only listed starting in 2025.
Based on FDV, about 49% of spot tokens with FDV under $10M have been removed, while the group with FDV above $100M has recorded no cases according to these statistics.
Regarding project origins, 26% of spot tokens were previously launched via Launchpool or Launchpad, while 63% of futures tokens previously appeared on Binance Alpha.
Personal viewpoint:
I think this is an important signal for those holding small-cap altcoins.
Getting listed on Binance does not mean the token will be maintained long-term. Binance states that they periodically evaluate markets based on multiple factors such as liquidity, trading volume, tokenomics, development activity, and the project’s level of safety.
Therefore, for tokens with low FDV or weak liquidity, the risk of narrowing the trading market needs to be taken into account.
Especially for futures: a token that is just listed but quickly gets removed shows that listing age is not a guarantee.
In my view, instead of only looking at whether Binance supports the token, you should also track the project’s volume, liquidity, FDV, and development activity.
