There’s something I genuinely don’t understand. I want to ask the experts.
For UNI’s tokenized stock trading volume, they say that on DEX it reached 20.9 billion. I don’t really understand how much this relates to UNI’s price itself. Today UNI is up 3.6%, up 16.2% over 7 days, trading volume is 56 million, and the volume has shrunk to only 40% of the average. If the DEX business is really that good, UNI should have reacted a bit, but with the volume shrinking like this, it feels like the market basically doesn’t care.
My confusion is: what exactly does this portion of trading volume do for UNI holders? Is it fee dividends, or is it just a data point meant to look good? If it’s only making the numbers look good, then what does it have to do with us people who hold the tokens? I can’t wrap my head around how fundamentals and token price are transmitted to each other. I see people on the forum saying it’s bullish, and others saying it was priced in early—both sides make sense, which makes me even more confused.
Maybe my understanding isn’t enough. Anyway, I won’t move recklessly until I figure it out.
