The XRP Ledger Batch (BatchV1_1) upgrade was originally expected to take effect around September 29. However, due to trusted validators supporting it briefly pushing below the required threshold, the two-week activation countdown was cleared and reset. Per XRPL amendment rules, it must receive support from more than 80% of trusted validators continuously for two weeks. After the $XRP ledger side regained 30 out of the 35 seats in support on September 25, if support is maintained, the earliest effective time is about October 9 at 14:46 (UTC). The countdown accrued since September 15 is canceled when support falls, and it must start over and fully count two weeks again.

Batch allows one outer transaction to package up to eight inner transactions, and it can be executed atomically with all-or-nothing semantics—for example, completing tokenized asset payment and settlement within the same operation to avoid one-sided settlement. This implementation was released with xrpld 3.3.0 to replace the earlier initial version that had been withdrawn due to a signature verification flaw. Another related feature, PermissionDelegationV1_1 (allowing accounts to delegate specific operations without giving up their signing key), is also affected and, if support is maintained, would take effect earliest around October 8 at 21:25 (UTC). The actual effective time still depends on whether support holds during the countdown period, and may change again.
