everyone thinks $USDT and $USDC are uncensorable cash that nobody can touch, but actually circle and tether just froze the bitget hacker's wallets while the funds were still moving.
ngl this is the pain that keeps catching people off guard. you can lose access to your own coins overnight just because they mixed with hacked funds on a swap, even if you had zero involvement.
look at the bitget case. the attacker drained the exchange and started cycling everything through $USDT and $USDC thinking they could mix and vanish. circle and tether froze those addresses almost immediately and now that bag is dead.
this is the same play they ran after other cex hacks. stables are not $BTC . if a flagged wallet touches yours, the issuer can blacklist you and you are stuck.
market is sitting in greed and everyone is aping, but the rails most of us actually use still come with a kill switch.
