ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao has been released on payment of a $175 million personal guarantee. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for 9:00 on February 23, 2024, Pacific time (February 24, Beijing time) 1:00 a.m.).

The terms of Zhao's release prohibit him from breaking the law, flirting with witnesses or victims or taking any over-the-counter controlled substances, which are normal provisions of bail. Changpeng Zhao was allowed to leave the United States and said he must return 14 days before sentencing.
