I have absolutely all notifications turned off. I’m not subscribed to anything. I can only be called by mom, dad, and three and a half people. And even they almost never use it, because they know how I feel about it.

I never have situations where a computer, laptop, or phone makes a sound and I suddenly think of going there. That just doesn’t happen. Besides, I’m almost always wearing noise-canceling headphones. Because intellectual processes, epiphanies, and ideas are born in silence. And you can radically change your life only through an idea. A deep idea.

Only an idiot thinks that you simply need to work a lot and hard without a goal or mission. First the idea. Then hard work. An idea comes only in solitude. And solitude is the absence of external distractions. A vacuum.

And in that vacuum, control begins. Not slavery to emotions, not reacting to stimuli, not automatism. Most modern people don’t control either their thoughts or their emotions. They’re led by signals.

A person is born where you yourself determine the course of your thoughts. Today there’s no problem getting competence. No problem understanding what to do. The only problem is the lack of internal control.
