The Fed is expected to raise rates in October, and the discussion still highlights a “probability rising to 69.7%.”
I just checked the CME FedWatch: based on the data available around 12:00 p.m. Beijing time as of today, the probability of a 25-basis-point hike at the October meeting is about 74%, while the probability of holding steady is about 26%. The 69.7% figure on the label is a bit outdated—the market’s pricing is more hawkish than the headline topic.
My view is very straightforward: don’t use “easing is still on the way” as an excuse to chase the altcoin hot trend right now. Take profits off the table with leverage first, then add to positions only after yields on Treasuries and the mainstream direction become clearer. BTC is currently around 84,100, still moving around the 84–85 range, and I’m not chasing it on my end.
