What would I choose to start with? TradFi or bStocks?
If you’re just starting out, I’d personally look toward bStocks first, not TradFi Futures.
Not because TradFi Futures are bad. It’s just that for a beginner there are immediately way more things to understand.
I’d personally start with bStocks. It’s simply easier to gradually figure out how the stock market behaves: how price reacts to news, economic indicators, company reports, key levels on the chart, and the overall market sentiment.
Plus, it’s a good way to get used to the trading process itself—and only then, when you have a solid understanding of the market and risk management, you can move on to TradFi Futures if you want to actively trade and use Long/Short and leverage. That’s just my personal impression.
In short, I’d see it something like this:
bStocks — easier to start with, learn, and understand the market.
TradFi Futures — more opportunities for active trading, but also significantly more risks.
So at the beginning, it’s better to learn to control risk consistently and to understand why you’re even opening one trade or another. And only then move on to more complex instruments.
