#Duelbits wallet anomaly
CertiK says that in the past few hours, the Duelbits wallet saw about $6 million in suspicious outflows.
The claim that this money was converted into ETH came from an earlier quoted report. Whether this outflow is related or whether the funds have been recovered is still unproven. In 2024, the Duelbits wallet also experienced a similar incident, so this isn’t the platform’s first time being targeted.
For ordinary token holders, the significance isn’t just about Duelbits itself, but about the pathway of the same kind of attack: once a private key leak is confirmed, on-chain funds are almost immediately broken up and exchanged for other coins, leaving the platform very little time to respond. Judging by available evidence, if in the next few days there are no on-chain actions to recover or freeze the assets, these $6 million will most likely be closed out as a loss.
