DCA ADA Day 253 — Today I want to talk about anxiety over “no movement.”

Today is Day 253 of my daily $60 DCA into ADA.
To be honest, when you hold ADA long-term, the hardest part isn’t sometimes the dips—it’s the feeling that “nothing is happening.” Every day, social platforms bring new stories and new narratives. When other coins start getting lively, it’s easy for people to doubt themselves: Is my choice too slow? Should I stop and move somewhere louder?
But I later realized that DCA training isn’t about predicting the future—it’s about being able to separate decisions from noise. I can keep an eye on project progress, and I can re-evaluate my judgment, but there’s no need to overturn a long-term plan just because of a day’s emotions. For me, DCA isn’t buying blindly, and it’s not putting all my hopes on a single target price. I check regularly whether the cash flow is comfortable, whether my position is beyond what I can handle, and I ask myself: If the market gives no returns for a long time, can I still sleep at night.
I still expect ADA to break $3, but expectation is not certainty. This goal is more like a light far away—it reminds me why I started, but it can’t replace checking the route. A plan that can truly be executed long-term should allow for doubt, allow for adjustments, and also allow for admitting on some day that I was wrong. Today’s $60 is invested as usual—not because I know it’ll be up tomorrow, but because it’s within a range I can tolerate, and within a time I’m willing to wait.

Slow isn’t the problem. Losing your own rhythm is.
