First, my stance: I’m bullish on this AI stock run. It looks more like a strong, sustained rebound rather than a single-day move.

NVIDIA says next year’s chip shipments will double again. The revenue expectations from leading cloud providers are also being raised. Behind it is real money being poured into compute power. I agree that AI demand is taking off. But how long it can last depends not on talk, but on whether cloud providers’ capex and next-generation orders can keep delivering.

AMD’s market cap has also just pushed past the trillion-dollar mark. On the memory side, Micron is moving in step. That suggests funds are still flowing into compute hardware and memory—not just a single-theme hype trade.

Some people in the industry are calling for a slowdown. Meanwhile, Trump’s side is pushing for an AI military force and even talking about AI in terms of its share of GDP. I lean more toward the view that the government will get involved and that order cycles will be extended. No matter how loud the regulatory arguments get, infrastructure, compute capacity, and military-related budgets will only extend demand—they won’t cut it. So the government’s narrative is a long-term positive for AI stocks, but it’s not a reason to blindly chase highs today.

Will I position for it? Yes. I’d prioritize the compute chips and the memory chain that’s already delivering, and only then look at whether there’s profitability at the application layer. If you’re not in yet, wait for a pullback and stabilization before entering. If you’re already holding, don’t add the full amount at the emotional peak—save some “ammunition” and use earnings reports to verify.

NVIDIA at around 225, AMD around 615, and MU around 1070—don’t chase near the day’s high. Let it pull back and stabilize, then talk about adding.

Bullish on the main AI theme—don’t be bullish just because you slapped an “AI” label on it and went all-in.
