🤖 AI Stocks: What’s next after the rally? 🤖
Trading screens keep flashing green, but sentiment has shifted. After another wave of gains in AI-related stocks, investors are no longer asking whether AI is powerful enough; they’re now wondering whether expectations have become too strong.
The “Nasdaq” recently hit an all-time intraday high, driven by optimism about AI adoption and a return of corporate earnings to the market’s focus. Semiconductor companies are also leading a large share of the new momentum.
But the uncomfortable part is that AI enthusiasm now comes with a massive investment bill. Goldman Sachs estimates that nearly half of the earnings growth for the “S&P 500” in 2026 is tied to AI-linked investments, warning that the pace of capital spending on AI may become harder to sustain even through 2027.
This creates two competing forces. Strong demand for computing infrastructure can support revenues, while expensive data centers, rising supply, and pressure to turn AI spending into real profits may weigh on valuations.
❓Do you think AI stocks still have more room to rise, or is the market nearing a reset of expectations?
