This batch of long positions chasing leveraged ETFs has been buried terribly within this hour.

The 3x long semiconductor ETF SOXL saw two consecutive liquidations on Hyperliquid within 3 seconds—$1.231 million and $308,000, totaling $1.539 million. Everything was long, with prices all clustered around $141.

Enlarge to see the entire stock liquidation category: in the past hour, $6.609 million was liquidated, 91.1% of it long positions; when extended to 4 hours, the long share drops to 81.5%; at 24 hours, longs make up 65.1%. The shorter the window, the higher the long share—suggesting that the chase-in money is being accelerated out of the market for liquidation.

The commodities side is different: on the Brent crude oil front, a $635,000 short position and, on silver, a $515,000 long position were liquidated in sequence—both sides were cleared, nothing like stocks where one side is overwhelmingly dominant.

You’re still holding a leveraged long with a lever in your hand—at this level, do you dare to add more?
