ZRO had quite a strong day. The price surged more than 20%, and open interest across the whole network jumped sharply as well. And this upswing is being paid for by shorts.
Binance +20.66%, OKX +20.96%—both sources confirm the move consistently, and the current price is around $1.47. Total open interest (OI) across the network surged to $164.3 million, up 34.0% in 24 hours. In one day, more than $41 million in new positions were added, indicating a large amount of new capital is flowing into longs.
Liquidation data further illustrates the situation: over the past 24 hours, the entire network was liquidated for $244,000. Short positions accounted for 63% ($154,000), while long positions only accounted for 37% ($90,000). In the most recent 4 hours, shorts still made up 60.5% of the market. This rally has been consistently taking shorts’ money—it’s not a one-off spike. Binance’s funding rate, annualized, is about 11%, and it hasn’t yet reached an extreme zone. This suggests longs are currently in control, though it hasn’t gone so far as to疯狂ly add leverage.
Do you think ZRO has truly entered with real money, or is it a short-term squeeze?
