DID YOU GET PAID IN TWO TRANSFERS? JUST BECAUSE THE TOTAL MATCHES DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN ALREADY RELEASE

An order is for 100,000 Bs. and you receive two transactions: 40,000 + 60,000.

The math is perfect. The problem is that in P2P, adding money is not the same as reconciling a payment.

Before releasing, you need to match both transactions to that order:

✅ Are both transactions actually credited?
✅ Do they correspond to the expected sender?
✅ Are the times consistent with the order?
✅ Did you check both references?
✅ Could either one belong to another operation?

📌 Imagine you have several orders open. Minutes before, you received 40,000 Bs. from another buyer and now 60,000 Bs. arrive.

Your bank shows 100,000 Bs. received, exactly what was expected.

But it doesn’t necessarily mean those 100,000 Bs. are from this order.

That’s where a dangerous mistake comes in: using the same transaction to reconcile different operations.

The amount tells you how much you received.
The other details help determine which operation you’re being credited for.

💡 The more transactions make up a payment, the more important it is to reconstruct the full operation before releasing.

⁉️ Merchants: Do you accept split payments? What controls do you apply when a customer pays an order with two or more transfers?
