The important detail: in the book, the best bid (958,25) and the best ask (958,60) are Bs. 0,35 apart. That’s what it costs to cross the market at that moment. The 2,49% on the ticker mixes the highest buy tip with the lowest sell tip, and that’s why it looks huge.

• BNC, Provincial and BBVA: 7 ads each, score 51, 5,4% each.

Detail that many overlook: BNC, Provincial and BBVA appear almost exclusively on the bid side. A bank’s availability isn’t symmetrical: there may be lots of people buying with that bank and few selling.
