Yesterday I posted an MGO update, and today I’m following up.
This account is still new—later I’ll share, in as simple a way as possible, the projects, ecosystems, and market research I’ve seen in the Web3 space. If you have different views, feel free to discuss in the comments so we can together fill in gaps and spot mistakes.
When I checked today, the MGO reference price was around $0.00595. Over the most recent full trading day, it opened at about $0.00589, hit a high of around $0.00597, bottomed at about $0.00588, and then closed in a relatively higher position within the day. In the short term, there wasn’t any obvious rapid sell-off.
The overall market rebounded quite noticeably yesterday, and major Move ecosystem assets like SUI and APT saw significant volatility. Compared to that, although MGO previously also went through a sizable drawdown, it has been relatively more stable at lower levels recently. Personally, I’m more inclined to interpret it this way: the market is still watching, but selling pressure hasn’t continued to expand clearly.
Over the past year, I’ve also compared SUI, APT, MOVE, and MGO. The various Move ecosystem paths have all gone through adjustments. But MGO’s current market cap is relatively smaller, while it also has a multi-VM direction combining MoveVM + EVM. If the Move ecosystem regains attention later, Mango’s DApp, developer tools, nodes, and OmniChain infrastructure could—at least in theory—convert into real users and on-chain activity, giving MGO a larger potential space for renewed interest.
So going forward, I’ll keep observing:
Whether ecosystem projects truly deliver and launch;
Whether active users and on-chain transactions are growing;
Whether MGO’s liquidity and market attention can gradually recover.
If these data continue to improve, it’s still worth expecting that MGO can, over the medium to long term, move out of low-range consolidation and gradually repair.
You can also keep an eye on the subsequent changes with me—feel free to share your views on MGO and the Move ecosystem in the comments.
MGO is still under Binance Alpha for now, and it’s not the same as being officially listed in the spot market. You need to pay attention to risks related to volatility, slippage, liquidity, and token supply.
