$BTC touched the 87,000 level in the one-to-line area, and the slope of the price surge on the board began to show signs of fatigue. This recent impulse was largely driven by a short squeeze in the derivatives market: concentrated stop-loss liquidations generated aggressive market buy orders that pushed prices higher, but it also means that the opponent-side liquidity most likely to be triggered has been largely cleaned out.

As the passive thrust from liquidation weakens, the market quickly enters a phase of testing against real spot demand. Although the ETF channel has continued to record large net inflows, once price cuts into the high-density area, relying solely on the momentum of earlier buying becomes difficult to sustain a one-way advance. Whether spot buyers are willing to continue picking up at a premium in the current range is the key to determining whether the move can evolve into a substantive trend.

The short-term liquidity picture on the board is narrowing. Above 86,000, we need to watch whether an effective price “residence” can form; 85,000 is the line that separates the strength and weakness of the longs. If a pullback here can still find support, the structure remains healthy. If it comes with a surge in trading volume and breaks below 84,000, then the risk of a liquidity retracement triggered by profit-taking needs to be watched.

The end of a short-squeeze rally is often accompanied by choppiness and disagreement. The next focus is whether the spot order book’s depth can firmly hold up these floating-profit positions.
