In just one week, it rose from $2.20 to $4.20, +80%.
I dug into the background and found that the driving force is more tangible than I initially thought.
Two things happened at the same time:
First, NEAR Intents’ cumulative traded volume surpassed $29.3 billion, with $842 million over the past 7 days. — This is a cross-chain intent layer. Users submit “what I want,” and the chain automatically finds the optimal route to execute, including cross-chain swaps and private transactions.
Second, NEAR has newly launched privacy perpetual contracts through Hyperliquid, where opening-position records are not public—so others can’t see which direction you’re trading in. On the very first day after launch, this feature brought a noticeable increase in trading volume.
On the same day, TVL also surpassed $250 million, reaching an all-time high.
But RSI is above 80, and the daily chart is already in deep overbought territory.
From $2.20 to $4.20—$4 is the most critical integer level today. Whether it can hold through the close will determine whether the trend continues or pulls back.
Hold $4: the next discussion targets are $5, then $8.
If it breaks below $3.80: the previous resistance zone—taking profits would accelerate.
If you chase here, how large of a pullback would you be able to accept?
