The network has been paused after an attacker attempted to exploit an atomic issue at the Virtual Machine (VM) level that caused state changes.
The team has identified the root cause. A fix has been prepared.
🔧 Recovery plan:
• Execute the Hard Fork from a known-good checkpoint
• Conduct tests with validators on Testnet and Devnet
• The reopening of exchange and bridge operations will be rescheduled in stages
• The attacker accounts have been identified and frozen
⚠️ Important for EGLD holders:
MultiversX users are currently advised not to send or rebroadcast transactions, and not to deposit or withdraw EGLD/ESDT via exchanges or bridges until an official announcement is issued regarding the recovery.
