Strategy has made a move again, but this time it only bought 950 coins—what does that mean?
Right now, the market direction is still upward, but the pace may need to slow down.
Last week, Strategy bought 950 BTC at an average price of $79,670, bringing its holdings to 846,000 BTC. Sounds pretty aggressive, right? But compare it to earlier: the deal at the end of August was 4,603 BTC, and in May it was 24,869 BTC. Dropping from the tens-of-thousands level to the thousands level isn’t adding—this is more like “just showing some support.”
Why buy so little? They’re out of money. The company’s available cash has shrunk to $1.3 billion, and they previously spent $139 million on share repurchases. The ammo is clearly being conserved.
Now look at the chart. BTC is around 85,000, up 5.5 points in the past 24 hours and hitting the highest level since late January. Technically, 82,500 is a key resistance level. Only after it holds can there be a real chance to push toward 90,000. Right now, it has just broken out, but it hasn’t been confirmed.
So my view is: being bullish on direction is fine, but don’t expect a straight-line rally. Strategy’s reduced-volume buying is itself a signal—they’re not in a hurry to chase higher prices in the short term. If you chase near 85,000, be mentally prepared for a pullback to 80,000. $BTC $MSTR #Strategy增持950枚BTC
