MagSafe tester: even with intact seals, it may still be a metal block

The clerk didn’t rush to open them; first, they tested the boxes with the magnet-field strip and found the ring’s response didn’t match. Only after peeling the seal did they discover the weight was right but the main unit was fake.
If the seal looks intact and the weight is roughly the same, these two fakes can be convincingly replicated. The fake ring can’t be forged, so pass this step first—don’t just focus on the pretty plastic wrap.
