Can you guys GUESS how much $ZEC has liquidated just in September❓😁
So Zcash just doubled from $750 to $1,500+ and while ZEC was pumping, many traders were waiting for dump below $450... and KEPT SHORTING.
Based on liquidation data from Sept 1-19, we are looking at roughly $200 MILLION+ in $ZEC liquidations across the move...
I am not surprised that, around $150M of that could be SHORTS alone.
On Sept 4 alone, when ZEC smashed through $1,000... $34.5M shorts got liquidated in 24 hours.
Then came $1,100... $1,300... $1,500...
And people STILL kept shorting 😆
This is exactly why fighting a vertical trend with stupid leverage can destroy an account... one squeeze feeds the next one.
Some legends are still waiting for dump below $500... maybe $ZEC could dump ... but.
