What should you check before confirming a cross-chain swap?

A cross-chain transaction can look straightforward, but there are several details worth checking before you confirm.

Here’s my quick checklist:

1️⃣ Source: Is the correct network and token selected?

2️⃣ Destination: Is the destination network, token, and wallet address correct?

3️⃣ Quote: What amount should arrive, and what fees, timing, and route are displayed?

4️⃣ Wallet: Does your wallet support the networks involved, and do you have the required gas?

5️⃣ Final check: Is the live quote still the same immediately before signing?

For example, Ethereum USDC → $TON USDT involves both a network change and an asset change. That makes checking the destination especially important.

I’d also attach a screenshot of the current STON.fi cross-chain interface or a relevant chart rather than using a generic graphic.

The simple rule: check the full route, not just the number shown in the quote.
