I went out and ran all day yesterday—it was really exhausting, and I didn’t get a chance to update the US pre-market storage sector!
Last night, Hynix and Micron both surged. Micron climbed above 1000, and Hynix jumped to 191, almost back toward the 1800 area.
The trigger was news that Solidigm is considering launching a NAND flash plant in New York State, and expectations of tight storage supply and demand directly pulled money in.
So is the “second spring” for storage back again?
