24/7 — availability, not identical liquidity
The ability to trade bStocks around the clock doesn’t mean that every hour has the same execution conditions.
When the traditional market is open, news and large volumes get reflected in the price of the underlying stock faster. At night, on weekends, or on a holiday, bStock continues to trade on the cryptocurrency market, but the order book depth and spreads may differ.
So I would look not only at the last price, but also at:
• the difference between the best bid and ask;
• the available volume near the current price;
• the operating hours of the underlying market;
• the type of order intended for entry.
A market order answers “buy now”. A limit order means “buy no more than a specified price”.
24/7 expands access, but doesn’t remove execution discipline.
