Bitcoin Surpasses $77,000: Arkham Says BlackRock Buys $1.5B in ETH
Bitcoin is still dealing with the fallout from the recent shock at the macroeconomic and regulatory levels, but Ethereum shows better resilience in the short term.
ETH is trading near the $2.43K area, and it managed to hold above an important support zone between $2,378 and $2,403.
The next clear test is around $2.5K.
This region gains importance because it recently absorbed significant selling pressure caused by outflows from ETF funds and the broader environment that tends to be risk-averse; yet buyers have returned near support.
For me, this creates a very simple setup.
If ETH continues to hold above $2,400 and eventually manages to reclaim $2,500 with convincing trading volume, that could indicate that buyers are again willing to take risk outside of Bitcoin.
But if the $2,378–$2,403 range fails decisively, the next area I’ll watch will be near $2,300.
I’m especially interested in the relationship between $BTC and $ETH here.
If Bitcoin stays relatively stable while Ethereum continues to outperform, that may mean capital has started rotating toward large-cap altcoins.
But if Bitcoin drops again, ETH’s relative strength could disappear very quickly.
So I’m not chasing a green candle.
