The Venezuelan P2P market closed the August 28, 2026 session with movements that caught the attention of USDT buyers and sellers. While Binance concentrated the highest number of active offers, other platforms posted a sell price 3.28% higher; a difference that the order book reveals as a possible opportunity for those looking to buy the stablecoin.

📊 P2P market snapshot as of August 28

According to data captured by PitbullChain’s P2P Radar at 18:30 UTC, the average purchase price of USDT in Venezuela was Bs. 940.58, while the selling price was Bs. 904.45. This creates a spread of 36.13 bolívares per dollar, equivalent to a 3.99% difference between what buyers pay and what sellers receive.

The BCV set the official exchange rate at Bs. 791.67, meaning that USDT trades at a 18.81% premium over the official rate. The parallel dollar, calculated based on Binance P2P offers, stood at Bs. 932.24—below the USDT average purchase price, but very close to the best selling price in the order book.

📈 The big gap: Binance vs other platforms

The comparison analysis between exchanges detected that Binance offers USDT at an average price of Bs. 929.92, while other platforms do so at Bs. 960.45. That difference of Bs. 30.53 per token represents an inter-exchange spread of 3.28%.

Practically speaking, a buyer who acquires USDT on Binance at Bs. 929.92 could, in theory, sell it on other platforms for Bs. 960.45, earning a gross profit of Bs. 30.53 per unit. However, commissions, transfer times, and counterparty risks must be considered before attempting any P2P trade.

This spread is not new in markets with currency restrictions, but the magnitude is significant. Liquidity plays a key role: Binance shows much greater market depth, with 250 active offers and a buying volume of 271,296.87 USDT versus 136,065.48 USDT for selling. Other platforms, even though they do not appear in the captured order book, show up in the comparator with higher prices, suggesting less competition among sellers.

🔎 Order book: where are the best offers

The order book at the time of the capture revealed that the best selling price (ask) was Bs. 931.90, offered by two sellers on Binance for a total of 6,024.64 USDT. On the demand side, the best buying price (bid) was Bs. 931.80, from a buyer on Bancamiga looking to acquire 7,592.68 USDT.

The difference between the best ask and the best bid was only Bs. 0.10, indicating a very tight market at the first levels of price. However, beyond those levels, opportunities appear:

• On Binance, sellers are offering from Bs. 931.90 up to Bs. 932.85, with amounts ranging from 280 USDT to 16,000 USDT.

• Other platforms show sell offers starting at Bs. 934.90, with smaller volumes but higher prices.

• For buyers, the strongest buy orders are at Bs. 931.80 and Bs. 931.00, with more than 45,000 USDT in total.

The order book imbalance (33.2% imbalance) suggests there is more buying intent than selling at the current levels, which could put upward pressure on the price in the short term.
