The interesting part is the use case: AI agents can potentially pay for data, computing and other online services automatically. Under MPP, a service quotes a price → the agent authorizes payment → the requested resource is delivered.
For XRPL, this opens another route for $XRP and $RLUSD to function as machine-to-machine payment assets. Ripple has already integrated XRPL with the x402 payment standard, so the latest update continues its push toward agentic payments.
