$13.25 million has been thrown in—yet not a single word is said about what the product actually looks like. These days, does fundraising happen faster than building products?

Blockchain Capital led the round, and the list of participating investors includes names like Avalanche Foundation and Apollo Global Management—mixing crypto-native capital with traditional financial capital in a rare early check. Personal crypto heavyweights such as Aave founder Stani Kulechov also joined this round.

But the announcement doesn’t clarify three things—what specific product is being built, what valuation is being set, and how the money will be used. The “Web3” label is too broad; even the sub-sectors aren’t disclosed.

In early-stage Web3, investors are already quite picky—money mostly flows to infrastructure and a handful of clearly defined use cases. Whether Tare can live up to this investor lineup will depend on whether they’re willing to lay out their product roadmap next. The only thing that can be confirmed right now is this: someone is still willing to write checks for early Web3 projects—nothing more, and nothing less.
