Bitcoin took a breath here around 75,000. After a drop on the 15th to 749,000, it rebounded slightly on the 16th, closing at 759,000. The intraday high touched 766,000, but it couldn’t hold above 760,000. The selloff was sharp and the bounce was soft—this is the most typical look of a weak market.

The key change is that after 760,000 was broken, it flipped from support into resistance. Today it surged toward 766,000 and was pushed back immediately, which suggests there are still sell orders overhead. The low at 749,000—the lifeline from the past couple of days—needs to hold; if that breaks, this wave hasn’t finished yet.

My take is straightforward: don’t treat this kind of small bullish candle as a reversal. It’s just a breather after an oversold move. If 75,000 can’t be defended, the next step is 73,000. If you want to bottom-pick, at least wait for a bullish mid-sized candle with volume that closes back above 76,500—that would indicate there’s actually money willing to take the offers. Until then, hold your position; being in cash is also a form of positioning.
