The Federal Reserve raises rates again
The Federal Reserve increased the interest rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4.00%, its first hike since 2023.
More important than the decision itself are what comes after it: the Fed’s projections call for another increase before the end of 2026, while inflation has remained high—meaning the tightening of monetary policy is not over yet.
For markets, attention will stay on the Fed’s statements, as well as the path of yields and the dollar, because they could determine the direction of liquidity in Bitcoin, equities, and high-risk assets.
