Arc’s mainnet went live on September 16, and social trading app Fomo made an announcement just before that milestone to integrate it.

First, one fact that must be clear—Arc currently has no token. The whitepaper is very explicit: the ARC token has not been issued yet. Gas fees are settled in USDC. So any talk on the forum about “buying the dip on ARC” or “airdrop expectations” is trading on something that doesn’t exist; it’s purely speculation.

Fomo’s own published figures are 625,000 users, $4.0 billion in transaction volume, and 110 million social impressions. These are numbers reported by Fomo themselves, with no third-party audit. The $75 million funding round led by Index Ventures, with Union Square and Benchmark as participants, shows that investors are optimistic about socialized trading apps as a category—not that Arc’s underlying chain economics are necessarily working.

The tweet’s distribution looks solid: 15 verified large accounts reposted it, 120 quote posts, 295 reposts, and 181,000 views. But these numbers are still confined within the crypto community and haven’t really spread to a broader mainstream user base.

The real question has shifted from “Can Arc attract developers?” to “Will users stick around after the first week?” Front-end apps like Fomo can route trades to any chain. Transaction volume generated on Fomo doesn’t automatically mean those trades are genuinely settled on Arc. Likewise, the 19.4 million weekly transactions and 77,000 accounts that appeared during the testnet stage could be subsidized or even artificially generated; their reference value is limited.

In the first week of mainnet launch, what you should watch is: whether Fomo users’ trades are truly settled on Arc, whether stablecoin balances and active addresses can hold up after the initial hype fades, and whether a real depth market forms rather than a short-term pool for speculative capital.

Without a token, discussing whether “ARC is worth buying” is a fake question. The only meaningful thing now is to look at real usage data.
