Around 74.8k is a relatively strong support for the bulls. Since the bill was not passed in the early morning, the price quickly pierced up to 74.9k. The short take-profit levels that were called earlier basically hit the targets.
Due to an operational mistake, personally I did not capture a big result with my short position. But in the group, many others held it and took partial profits around the 76k stage.
After opening a long and stopping out in the evening, at around the early morning I entered a long position at 75.2k. The biggest variable in the market is not the technical side, but the Fed interest rate decision in the early morning. The market is very sensitive: if it breaks below 75K → it will quickly be pulled back. This is a liquidity sweep. After that, it should continue moving upward for a while. If, however, it breaks below and keeps trading below 75K, the market structure will weaken significantly, and reaching 72–70k is fine.
My plan is to hold this long position until before 4 p.m., and it should be fine.
