Binance Products TradFi Perpetuals: Cut the Daily Maintenance Window, Switch to 24/5
Starting at 21:00 UTC today, Binance Products’ TradFi Perpetuals will no longer pause for one hour every day.
The batch of contracts including gold/silver/platinum/palladium, copper, WTI, Brent crude, and NATGAS will now be available for trading five days a week, with orders left up around the clock. Binance officially specified XAUUSDT, XAGUSDT, XPTUSDT, XPDUSDT, COPPERUSDT, CLUSDT, BZUSDT, and NATGASUSDT—any newly listed similar contracts will follow the same rule.
The real issue is habit. That old daily maintenance window used to give people a chance to close positions, modify orders, or catch their breath; now it’s gone. If you’re still watching the old timetable, you’re essentially leaving yourself a gap that doesn’t exist.
Effective at 5:00 AM Taipei time tomorrow morning. Trading days remain 24/5—don’t misread “no stopping” as “open on weekends too.”
