Facts:
• From September 11, the EU cybersecurity law: wallet manufacturers report within 24 hours vulnerabilities that are already being used to hack wallets
• Full report within 72 hours, final report within 14 days
• Fine: up to €15 million or 2.5% of the company’s annual turnover
• Began right after the Trezor and Bitbox leaks
🧠 My thought: there will be no more quiet fixes—every hack becomes a report to the regulator. Attackers read the same reports: 24 hours is a race between patching and mass hacking. Phishing will ride the wave of “urgent notifications.”
