Kaiko’s Round B delayed to $110 million: S&P leads the investment; shares not specified

S&P Global led the Series B, and Kaiko expanded the round to $110 million. Joining the deal are Nasdaq Ventures, BNP, Coinbase Ventures, and DRW.

They’re funding the foundation of crypto data and tokenization market infrastructure—not launching another exchange. The official announcement doesn’t say how many shares S&P received or what valuation was set—“led the investment” doesn’t mean control.

Taking a stake ≠ moving pricing power on-chain. Next up will be whether index and smart contract data can truly be put into practice.
