Security Alert｜iPhone Users, Please Check Immediately！

On September 19, Binance Wallet released an important security announcement:

Third-party app FomoPeek (versions 1.1–1.2) has been confirmed to contain malicious code. According to disclosures by security firms such as SlowMist, the app can exploit vulnerabilities in the iOS system to gain the highest level of access to the device, and thereby read sensitive data stored on the device—including private keys, seed phrases, login credentials, chat records, files, and more.

This is not ordinary phishing—it is a direct attack on the device itself.
Once infected, data from all apps on the phone could be stolen, and self-custody wallets are especially risky.

Please check yourself immediately:

1. Are you using an iPhone/iPad running iOS 26.x or earlier?
2. Have you installed the FomoPeek app?

If both apply, take the following steps right away:

1. Delete FomoPeek immediately and never install it again.
2. Update your iOS system to the latest version.
3. For self-custody wallet users: create a new wallet on a clean device that has never had this app installed, and transfer all assets to it.
4. If you notice any abnormal movement of assets, keep the device and evidence, and contact customer support as soon as possible for investigation.

These incidents once again remind us: in the crypto world, phone system permissions are the final line of defense for asset security. No matter how carefully you protect your seed phrase, if the device is rooted or accessed beyond authorization, everything is for nothing.

We recommend that everyone develop these habits:

- Install apps only through official channels; avoid any “trending tools” of unknown origin.
- Keep important assets in a hardware wallet or on a fully isolated clean device whenever possible.
- Don’t delay system updates—vulnerability windows are often when hackers are most active.

Security is no small matter. It’s better to check one more time than regret it later.

🚨 BITCOIN FACES A MAJOR FED CATALYST 🚨

$BTC is trading around $75.7K–$75.9K after coming under renewed selling pressure. The failed Senate vote on the CLARITY Act has added to the uncertainty.

Now the focus is on the Federal Reserve.

📌 Markets are pricing roughly a 90%+ chance of a 25 bps hike, which would take rates to 3.75%–4.00%.

But the bigger catalyst may be Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s guidance on future hikes.

⚠️ A hawkish outlook could keep pressure on BTC, while a less-hawkish message could shift attention toward a weaker dollar.

$BTC is at a critical decision point. 👀

What will matter more: the rate hike or Warsh’s guidance?

The Bank of Japan has just raised interest rates to 1.25%, the highest level since 1995 🤯🤯

But the yen, instead, has weakened.
The USD/JPY, which was around 155.9 before the decision, has jumped to 156.7—meaning the yen has fallen versus the US dollar.

In my view: a 25-basis-point hike was already priced in by the market long ago. What really determines the direction of the yen is the interest-rate spread between the US and Japan, because the Fed’s rate is still 3.75%-4.00%, while Japan’s 1.25% remains far lower than the US—so the foundation for carry trades hasn’t changed.

For the crypto community, this time it’s also a close call.
$BTC held above the $79,000 level, and BTC/JPY is still up 0.5% to 12.06 million yen.

And since the yen didn’t strengthen—rather, it weakened—the carry trade of borrowing yen to buy risk assets wasn’t forced to unwind. If anything, short-covering actually helped support the price.

I think the real risk is still coming.
The market expects Japan could raise rates to as high as 1.75% by 2027.
Once the yen rapidly appreciates due to subsequent hikes, those carry trades will be forced to close out—because the plunge in BTC and global equities in August 2024 happened exactly that way.

So not falling this time doesn’t mean it will be safe next time too—
