STEEM
: A 60%+ surge in 24 hours—old coins suddenly take off. Can this wave still be chased?
STEEM suddenly broke out today. Its current price is about 0.0765 USDT, and the 24-hour increase has already exceeded 60%. Compared to yesterday’s level around 0.05, it’s opened up a huge gap.
STEEM is actually a very old project in the crypto space. Its core idea is: “Content creation can also earn money.”
Users can earn STEEM rewards on Steemit by posting articles, liking posts, and participating in the community.
So you can think of it as a very early version of:
Social media + content mining + Web3.
However, in this move today, I haven’t seen any particularly clear single catalyst. It feels more like after the recent rotation into old coins, short-term funds suddenly集中进场 (poured in).
For trading, I mainly watch three levels:
0.070~0.072: The first short-term support.
After the big surge, if it pulls back but can hold this level, I remain cautiously bullish.
0.078~0.080: The current key resistance.
Only if it can break above 0.08 with volume and hold there will there be a chance to open the next leg.
0.063~0.065: An important defense zone.
If it drops back here again, it would mean today’s strong move has started to cool off noticeably.
So my view is simple:
STEEM is truly strong right now, but after a 60% jump in a day, it’s no longer a comfortable momentum-chasing spot.
I’d rather wait to see whether it can absorb orders around 0.07, or wait until it genuinely breaks through 0.08 before considering the next leg.
Old coins are afraid that nobody is watching—but once funds start rotating, moves like this often happen really fast.
This is Niu Niu in the crypto circle. There are plenty of good coins—let’s keep looking ahead.
