CVC: Surges up 35% today—has the old, established identity track suddenly caught the attention of funds?

CVC has directly climbed to the #1 spot on Binance’s spot gainers list today.

Its current price is about 0.03524 USDT, up 35.85% in the past 24 hours, making it one of today’s strongest spot performers.

Behind CVC is Civic, which focuses on Web3 identity verification.

Recently, the project’s direction has shifted from the previous heavy emphasis on KYC verification toward a lighter Web3 Auth approach—focusing on login, embedded wallets, and multi-chain identity integration. It currently supports multiple networks including Solana, Ethereum, Base, and BSC.

So this move can be understood as:

Old coin rotation + a Web3 identity narrative + sudden surge in capital.

For trading, I mainly watch three levels:

0.032–0.033: The first support for the short term.
If it pulls back here and quickly reclaims, I’ll remain biased toward buying/going long.

0.036–0.037: The key overhead resistance right now.
Today it has already come close to this zone. Only if there’s a breakout with strong volume and it holds above it will there be a chance to open the second leg.

0.029–0.030: An important defense zone.
If it falls back into this area again, it would suggest that today’s bullish strength is clearly cooling off.

So my view is very simple:

CVC is indeed strong today—but after gaining 35% in a single day, it’s no longer a comfortable chase-buy spot.

I’d rather wait for a pullback and support around 0.032, or wait until there’s a real breakout above 0.037 before looking for the next leg.
