According to Bloomberg, South Korean prosecutors’ request to issue an arrest warrant for Terraform Labs co-founder Daniel Shin was rejected by a local court for the second time. The Seoul Southern District Court said on Thursday that the charges against Shin remained controversial and that he was unlikely to be a risk of absconding or destroying evidence.
Earlier in December last year, a South Korean court rejected an arrest warrant for Terra Co-founder Daniel Shin. Seoul prosecutors said last year that Shin faced charges of fraud, dereliction of duty, violation of capital market laws and illegal fundraising.
