This time, I’m revisiting the $100 area—not just because the price has fallen.
Solana has already confirmed a mainnet upgrade on September 15. The size of a single transaction will increase from 1232 bytes to 4096 bytes, which is equivalent to increasing to 3.3 times the original.
This change is very specific.
Previously, ZK proofs that wouldn’t fit in a single transaction, large multisig, and some batched operations could only be handled differently; after the upgrade, they can be included directly in a single transaction.
Also, Agave 4.2 has another upgrade that hasn’t been activated yet: reducing the slot time from 400ms to 200ms.
$SOL I’ll treat $100 as the position for rebuilding my stake in this round; $95 is the next tier.
