Last night, I chatted and learned in the @520龙行天下 livestream room and gained a lot. Thanks to Longge and all the big-shot experts who shared their insights. While discussing, I kept thinking about one question: Which people are suitable to make a living from trading? That’s why I put together the following content. I hope it can help both newcomers who are about to enter the market and older hands who are in a迷茫 stage.

Because there’s a limit on the number of characters in plaza posts, I’ll turn it into a serial. If this is useful to you or your friends, please follow + like, and share it with more people who need it. 🌹

“Can trading really make money?”
“Can you make a living by trading?”
“Can trading really make someone rich?”

My answer is: Yes.

But whether you can actually do it ultimately depends on you.

However, before you start thinking:

“How do I make a living from trading?”
“How do I become rich through trading?”

There are, in fact, a few more important questions you must solve first.

And the first one is not technical analysis, and it’s not trading knowledge.

① Before your trading income becomes stable, who will support your life?

This is a question many people have never really thought seriously about.

If you don’t currently have a stable source of income, yet you immediately hope:

“I’ll make money by trading and live on it from now on.”

Then from the moment you press the button to place your first trade, you’re already carrying enormous pressure.

Because that trade is not just a trade for you.

It may turn into:

rent;
living expenses;
children’s tuition;
family expenditures;
and next month’s income, etc.

At that point, can you still trade calmly?

“Very difficult.”

When you “must make money on this trade,” the quality of your trading usually starts to deteriorate.

You may end up:

force-entry without changing your entry location;
refusing to cut losses after you incur a loss;
rushing to exit once you’re up a little;
turning emotional and retaliatory trading after a streak of losses;
adding more trading frequency because you’re afraid you won’t have income today;
amplifying leverage due to life pressure;

In the end, you might think:

“Trading simply can’t make money.”

But in many cases, it’s not that trading itself is the problem.

It’s that from the very beginning, you placed yourself in a position where you have to sell coins from the market and cash out just to survive.

For someone who hasn’t yet built stable trading ability, this is almost the worst starting point.
