Ripple Treasury 13 Trillion: It’s customer annual turnover, not an RLUSD pile

$13 trillion—this is the yearly turnover that Ripple Treasury’s roughly 1,200 enterprise treasury customers handle. It’s not an RLUSD “pile” already tucked into wallets.

Stablecoin business SVP Jack McDonald told CoinDesk that these customers previously basically hadn’t been on-chain. The idea is to treat enterprise treasury as RLUSD’s next growth engine. Circulating supply is roughly $2.4 billion; over the past month it’s grown by more than 50%. XRPL accounts for about $1 billion, Ethereum about $1.4 billion. Daily activity has risen from around $200 million at the start of the year to about $750 million last month. Europe also wants to do dual issuance under MiCA—Luxembourg has authorized it; whether it really ramps up remains to be seen.

$13 trillion is the traffic through the front-door pipeline. Stablecoins are still in the $2.4 billion range—don’t hear “aiming at” as “already consumed.”
