Today I’ve been reflecting: for small-cap meme coins, is it the narrative that matters more—or is it the mindset and strategy of the traders and market makers?

Originally, I laid in for giggle. The bet was on its charitable narrative—I believed it was the only high-quality narrative in BSC that could keep going. I didn’t expect this position to take months, and it still keeps hovering around the cost line. Sure, I haven’t lost money, but I’ve sacrificed precious time costs as well. I made a precise choice and bought in the bottom range of a small-cap altcoin, and now I have to admit I picked the wrong target—this is true for form, and it’s also true for giggle.

Looking at a few other meme coins from the same period, they already came up from the bottom and have multiplied many times—like Hakimi, Binance Life, “I’m fucking here,” and today’s hot coin, lobster. I used to think these were all just air; getting listed on an exchange was the last leg, and there was no story left to carry on. But now the market never looks at it that way. Retail investors’ consensus capital amounts are basically insignificant in the face of the project team and market makers.

I may have already missed this round of the small-cap altcoin main pump, but there’s nothing to be done—now I can’t chase other coins higher. For me, the risk is too big, and I’ve never trade on the right side of a move.
