The TRON ecosystem continues to expand support for MetaMask. Now, connecting through one of the most popular Web3 wallets is available immediately across several key network projects: B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent.
Native TRON support first appeared in MetaMask earlier in 2026 on mobile devices and in the browser extension. The next step was connecting directly to applications in the ecosystem. For users, this means they can interact with TRON services through a wallet they already know, while maintaining independent control over their assets.
What is now available through MetaMask?
SUN.io lets you connect MetaMask to work with SunSwap V4, a decentralized exchange and AMM ecosystem on TRON. According to TRON DAO, the platform’s total TVL exceeds $650 million.
JustLend DAO makes access to TRON DeFi tools available through MetaMask, including lending, borrowing, and staking. The protocol’s stated TVL exceeds $7 billion.
B.AI is building infrastructure for the AI-agent economy. The project focuses on creating a digital identity for autonomous agents and enabling them to independently make payments and carry out operations on the blockchain.
BitTorrent complements this infrastructure with cross-chain capabilities through BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) and decentralized data storage using BitTorrent File System (BTFS).
Why is MetaMask integration important for TRON?
The main advantage is reducing the barrier between different blockchain ecosystems.
Users who already use MetaMask don’t need to learn a new wallet just to interact with TRON applications. They can connect to supported dApps through the familiar interface.
The potential audience for such an integration is quite large. According to TRON DAO data for September 2026, there are more than $94 billion USDT in the network, the average daily transfer volume exceeds $23 billion, and the total number of TRON accounts has surpassed 402 million.
What does this mean for the ecosystem?
In my view, the initial addition of TRON to MetaMask was only the first step. Much more important is that support is now being extended directly to network applications.
The more DeFi, payments, AI, and cross-chain services you can use on TRON through familiar tools, the smaller the gap becomes between TRON and the rest of Web3.
TRON already holds a strong position in stablecoin transfers. Now the ecosystem is gradually working on another goal: making this liquidity available through the Web3 infrastructure that is most familiar to users.
If the trend continues, MetaMask could become one of the additional channels for bringing users and liquidity from EVM ecosystems into TRON.
