ChainCatcher message: Ethlabs says it has reviewed more than 60 EIPs proposed for the Ethereum Hegotá upgrade, updated its priority recommendations, and focused on four areas: censorship resistance, transaction confirmation speed, native account abstraction, and performance optimization.

Specifically, Ethlabs supports FOCIL to enhance Ethereum’s censorship resistance and neutrality; it recommends shortening time slots for the first time in the Hegotá upgrade via Quick Slots, and creating conditions for further slot reductions afterward; it supports native account abstraction through Frame Transactions, introducing passkey wallets, fee-subsponsored transactions, paying Gas with tokens, batch transactions, and improved privacy and post-quantum security support. In addition, Ethlabs emphasizes that client and protocol design should continue to prioritize performance, and use optimization results to increase L1 capacity, shorten time slots, and reduce node operational requirements.
