Previously, Tether also froze funds related to the Huiwang Guarantee, in a move targeting illicit custody platforms operating via Telegram.
As for me personally, this morning I saw Telegram suddenly run into an issue without any official reason, and then a few hours later I saw nearly $40M USDT frozen.
I’m just thinking—no proof that these two things are related.
But the timing is exactly like:
